YKS Sayaç Privacy Policy Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. Summary
• The App does not collect, store or share any personal data. • It does not use an internet connection; there is no account, sign-in, advertising, analytics or crash reporting. • Exam dates ship inside the App, taken from ÖSYM announcements; nothing is fetched from a server.
2. Data That Stays Only on Your Device
The following choices are stored on your device and never sent anywhere:
• The exam level/session you selected • Widget appearance preferences (theme, colour, opacity, daily quote) • The photo you chose as the widget background: the picker is the operating system's own picker; the App does not request access to your photo library and only receives a downsized copy of the single photo you pick. That copy stays in the App's own storage (on iOS, in the container shared by the app and its widget); no other app, we, or any third party can access it.
Deleting the App deletes this data. If Android device backup is on, the operating system may include these preferences in your Google account backup; we have no access to that backup.
3. Links
"Start solving questions" opens the main app's page on Google Play or the App Store; "Contact us" opens your mail app; official source links open in your browser. Those pages are governed by their own privacy policies. The store link carries a campaign tag indicating the install came from the countdown app (e.g. utm_source=yks_sayac); this tag does not identify you.
4. Children's Privacy
The App does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
5. Permissions
The App requests no special permissions (no location, camera, microphone, contacts, photo library or notifications).
6. Not an Official App
YKS Sayaç is an independent app not affiliated with ÖSYM. Exam dates come from official announcements; no date is guessed when none has been announced. Refer to ÖSYM's official pages for binding information.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the date on this page is updated.
