This notice is provided under Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") regarding personal data processed in the Rize Yanımda app ("App").
1. Data Controller

2. Personal Data Processed
• Identity and contact: email address, name / display name, profile photo • Place: the district you optionally choose (device location is not processed) • User content: reviews, ratings, review photos, favorite places • Customer transactions: reports and notes, support correspondence • Transaction security: user ID (uid), sign-in method, account creation and update times
Saved news and app preferences stay on your device and are not processed by the data controller. No special categories of personal data are processed.
3. Purposes
• Running membership and the App's core features • Publishing reviews, ratings and photos and calculating averages • Moderating user content, reviewing reports and preventing abuse • Information security • Responding to requests and complaints • Meeting legal obligations and protecting rights in disputes
4. Legal Grounds (KVKK Art. 5)
• Performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c): account, profile, reviews and favorites • Data made public by the data subject (Art. 5/2-d): reviews, photos and profile details you publish • Legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f): moderation, security, abuse prevention • Legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç) and establishing, exercising or protecting a right (Art. 5/2-e): record keeping
5. Collection Method
Electronically through the App, from information you enter and from the Google/Apple sign-in providers.
6. Transfers, Including Abroad
Data is transferred to our hosting provider Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited (Firebase). The database and files are stored on servers in the European Union (Belgium, the Netherlands). This transfer is made under KVKK Art. 9 within the provider's standard contractual clauses. Content you publish publicly is shown to other users. Data may be disclosed to authorities where legally required. Your data is not sold or shared for advertising.
7. Retention
Account, profile, review, photo and favorite data until you delete your account; report records for as long as needed for moderation and disputes. Afterwards data is deleted or anonymized.
8. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11)
You may ask whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, know third parties it is transferred to, request correction, request deletion under Art. 7, request that corrections/deletions be notified to third parties, object to adverse results from automated analysis, and claim compensation for unlawful processing.
