This page lists every third-party service the App relies on and explains why each is used. The App does not use any third-party service for advertising, behavioral analytics, or user profiling.
1. Google Maps Platform Purpose: Map-tile rendering, map UI, coordinate selection. Provider: Google LLC Data sent to provider: Standard map-tile requests (IP, device metadata, etc. processed under Google's own policies). Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
2. Firebase Core Purpose: Required base initialization for Firebase SDKs. Provider: Google LLC (Firebase) Data sent to provider: Standard Firebase init handshake.
3. Firebase Remote Config Purpose: Minimum required app version check. Data sent to provider: App version, device locale, platform/OS version, package name. Not used for: User tracking, advertising, behavior analysis, profiling.
4. Firebase Crashlytics Purpose: Crash and non-fatal error reporting (release builds only, gated by the CRASHLYTICS build flag). Data sent to provider: Crash stack trace, device model, OS version, app version. Not collected: Name, email, phone, contacts, messages, user content, or saved locations.
5. Google Play Services Purpose: System-level integration with Google Play (mock-location API, location provider, etc.). Provider: Google LLC
6. Android System Services Purpose: AlarmManager (scheduler), MediaStore (the photo picked by the user for Photo GPS Editor), notifications, share sheet. Provider: Android operating system (on device).
7. Address Search (Android Geocoder) Purpose: Converting the place name you type on the map into coordinates (geocoding). Provider: Android system geocoder service (the backend resolver may be Google). Data sent to provider: Only the search query text you type; sent over the internet. Your real location is not sent, queries are not stored, and they are not used for profiling.
8. Cloud Firestore (Read-Only) Purpose: Reading the app_meta/changelog document to display the "What's New" (changelog) text. Provider: Google LLC (Firebase) Data sent to provider: Standard Firestore read request (connection metadata such as the IP address is subject to Google's own policies). Important: Read-only; no user data is written or uploaded to Firestore.
