KPSS Konu & Soru: Öğren Information Notice under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) Last Updated: September 24, 2026
This notice is provided under Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") regarding personal data processed through the KPSS Konu & Soru: Öğren application ("App").

2. Personal Data Processed • Identity and contact: email address, name and profile photo link when you choose to sign in; the nickname you enter • Customer transaction: exam and level selection, daily goal, points (XP), question reports and notes, subscription status and expiry • Transaction security: user ID (uid), sign-in method, account creation and last sign-in times, app integrity verification result • Device and usage: app instance ID, device model, operating system, language, approximate location derived from IP (country/city), screen and session events, crash logs, push token
Solved questions, progress, mistakes, favorites and mock exam results stay on your device and are not processed by the data controller. No special categories of personal data are processed.
3. Purposes Running the App and membership, moving your profile between devices, verifying subscriptions, fixing reported content, error and performance monitoring, information security and abuse prevention, and meeting legal obligations.
4. Legal Grounds (KVKK Art. 5) • Establishment or performance of a contract (5/2-c): account, profile, subscription and core features • Legitimate interest (5/2-f): error monitoring, security, content correction • Legal obligation (5/2-ç) and establishing, exercising or protecting a right (5/2-e): record keeping
5. Method of Collection Electronically through the App: from information you enter, from Google/Apple sign-in providers, from Google Play and the App Store (purchase verification) and from technical data collected automatically by Firebase SDKs.
6. Transfers Your data is transferred to our hosting and technical service provider Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited (Firebase). Some Firebase servers are located abroad (database in Germany, content packs in the USA, Analytics/Crashlytics on global infrastructure); this transfer is carried out under KVKK Art. 9 within the provider's standard contractual terms. Purchase information is shared with Google Play and Apple for subscription verification. Data may be disclosed to competent authorities where legally required. Your data is not sold or shared for advertising.
7. Retention Account and profile data until you delete your account; subscription records for the periods required by law and for restoring purchases; technical logs according to Google's service periods. Data is then deleted or anonymized.
8. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11) You may learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose and recipients, request rectification or erasure, request that third parties be notified, object to results arising from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.
